We are two professionals working within the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis. We have worked in ABA schools for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and have also worked (and continue to do so!) on home programs. We both have undergraduate degrees in psychology and postgraduate qualifications in ABA. We are also currently in the process of obtaining BACB certification (see www.bacb.com).

We feel that while there is information available for parents about the different options available, such as the different type of schools and services, there is a lack of information about how to set up a home program, should that be the road that the parent ventures down. It is difficult to know where to start when setting up a home program, what type of questions to ask prospective tutors, or how to go about recruiting tutors in the first place. Similarly, for ABA tutors who are seeking employment, there is no solid directory of home programs available. Instead, advertisements seem to be via word of mouth or online discussion forums.

Consequently, we thought it would be beneficial to parents and tutors alike, to develop this site. We hope that we provide a helpful service and would be grateful of any suggestions about how we can improve it.
